The company MARFIL, founded in the early 80s in the center of Vercelli, a historic Italian textile center, was born as a subcontractor to production elastic nylon for hosiery market and to production metallic yarn.

In the 1990 for the ever increasing demand for yarns MARFIL moved, looking  for a more suitable and bigger plant, to satisfy the market demand.

At the same time, a direct sale of the yarns of his production began.

To date, the company’s core business has shifted to specializing in selling and production metallic yarn; diversifying the range of the offer in order to meet the neds of the various markets.
